How CNFC™ Enables UHPC 2.0™
CNFC™ is the proprietary carbon-nanofiber technology that forms a core part of ceEntek’s approach to advancing UHPC.
By engineering the carbon nanofiber material, its dispersion and its interaction with the cementitious system, ceEntek is able to optimize the UHPC matrix at the nanoscale.
UHPC 2.0™ builds on this technology together with ceEntek’s proprietary material formulations, cePaste™ technology, nano-engineering and production processes.
CNFC™ is therefore not synonymous with UHPC 2.0™. CNFC™ is a core enabling technology within the broader UHPC 2.0™ system.
ceEntek Pte. Ltd. owns and controls all technologies, critical production and implementation steps for the production and application of UHPC 2.0™.
CNFC™ technology is one of the core technologies through which ceEntek advances conventional UHPC into its UHPC 2.0™ platform.
This starts with carbon nano-material formulated to meet the requirements in UHPC and reaches to the on-site use of UHPC 2.0™. ceEntek’s optimized CNF for its UHPC reduces the number of ingredients to just five: sand, cement, water, CNF and superplasticizer!
How to prepare and use UHPC 2.0™
UHPC 2.0™ can be prepared, used, and applied like normal concrete. Both precast and on-site fabrication is supported. The material is self-setting and self-leveling. No steam curing or enclaving is required to reach the desired strength and performance.
