Today ceEntek is a World Leader in the Commercialisation of Carbon Nano-Fibers in Concrete

ceEntek Pte Ltd was started in Singapore in late 2010 to focus on the development of the technologies required for the cost-effective production of nano-engineered Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC 2.0™). The impact of Carbon Nano-Fibers (CNF) in concrete was scientifically proven three decades ago, but could not be implemented in practice due to problems of dispersion of CNF in water and distribution of nano particles in the concrete blend. Through years of R&D activities ceEntek developed CNF dispersible in water without chemicals allowing for homogenous dispersion of CNF in the concrete paste.
Based on this discovery, ceEntek developed a UHPC system (UHPC2.0™) with the fewest possible ingredients: cement, sand, water, CNF and plasticizer (water reducing admixture). This seemingly simple system served as the cornerstone for a family of application-specific products including self-leveling UHPC for bridge connections & pre-cast elements, thixotropic UHPC for bridge & road overlay rehabilitation as well as pumpable UHPC for offshore/subsea grouting and windfarm installations. For architectural and façade panel applications, ceEntek supplies multi-colored UHPC both for pre-cast assembly and spray-type usage. ceEntek is standardizing its UHPC2.0™ worldwide with the current presence in Singapore, USA, Canada, China, Saudia Arabia and UAE.

UHPC 2.0™ Solution

ceEntek has developed an advanced next generation UHPC 2.0™ system eliminating the handling, performance and cost barriers for UHPC preparation, curing and usage. ceEntek’s proprietary IP allows it to adopt its UHPC products to local raw material such as sand & cement resulting in a lower cost, optimized logistics, high quality manufacturing process for the implementation of UHPC 2.0™ products in a wide range of markets and applications. UHPC 2.0™ based products and solutions provide ‘best in class’ solutions for lightweight, high-strength, two- and three- dimensional precast elements, tunnel coatings, UHPC overlays, joint fills, bridge decks, bridge girders, seismic retrofits, and many more. UHPC 2.00™ is not only a superior UHPC, but shows extremely high resistance against chemical attacks, carbonation and moisture intrusion.
