Ph.D. in Building and Materials Chemistry (University of Siegen), Degree in Minerology (Philipps University)

After graduating as a mineralogist at the Philipps University in Marburg, Torsten conducted research on nanomaterial-modified construction materials at the Institute for Building and Materials Chemistry (University of Siegen), where he received his Doctorate in Chemistry in 2011. During his work in Siegen, he was able to deepen his knowledge in the field of nano-modified Ultra-High Performance Concretes by soliciting, leading and working on funded fundamental research projects as well as application-oriented development projects. From 2018 to 2021, he led the R&D team in waterproofing and restoration at Schomburg GmbH & Co. KG. Torsten officially joined ceEntek’s R&D team in August 2021, where he supports the development of Next-Generation UHPC 2.0™ by identifying the principles of action of Nano-Engineered UHPC.
